IMS Celebrates Native American Heritage Month

We are delighted to inform you that November is Native American Heritage Month—a time to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Native Americans. This month provides an excellent opportunity for us to deepen our understanding and appreciation of their cultural heritage, both within our school community and at home.

Throughout November, we will engage students in various educational activities and discussions that promote awareness and respect for Native American culture. We kicked off these activities with bookmark decorating in Homeroom classes to celebrate and honor the culture. Students were encouraged to use their completed bookmark to remind them of Native American Heritage this month.
