IMS Families and Community,

What a fun week of Spirit thanks to our ASB students.  A lot of fun participation by students and staff dressing up in various patterns and colors to show their school spirit this week. 

Have you ordered your student's yearbook?  We only do pre-orders and there are only 54 more left for purchase.  Please reach out to our bookkeeper, Vasantha Singanallur if you would like to buy one.  They are going fast.

Track season began April 6, and we look forward to another great season.  Please sign up on our school website under Athletics in Final Forms to join. 

Spring Break will take place April 13–17. When students return, we will begin our Smarter Balanced state testing. Eighth graders will complete the Science assessment in their classrooms on April 20 and 21, and then ALL students in grades 6–8 will participate in:

• ELA state testing: April 30 and May 1
• Math state testing: May 15 and 16

We encourage all students to do their best and come prepared.  Students will NEED THEIR OWN PLUG IN headphones for the April 30 test date.

As we look to the end of the school year, please note that 8th grade promotion will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at 9:00 AM in our school gym. The last day of school is June 16.
