A Message from Principal Jergens-Zmuda - October 30, 2025

Message From

IMS Families and Community,

Thank you to all the IMS students and families who joined us for the PTSA Bingo event last week! We played four rounds of Bingo, enjoyed a costume contest and bake-off, and had a wonderful time connecting as a community. A big thank you to our ASB students for helping with decorations and cleanup.

As a reminder, Halloween is tomorrow! Students are welcome to dress up, but please review our costume expectations: no masks covering the face, no fake blood, and no weapons or sticks as part of costumes.

Congratulations to our Season 1 fall sports teams! Cross Country had their championships today, and Volleyball and Boys’ Soccer just wrapped up their seasons—we hope students had a blast. If your student hasn’t yet signed up for Co-ed Wrestling or Girls’ Basketball, please do so in Final Forms by tomorrow. We are also looking for a possible coach for Girls’ Basketball Intramurals. We typically have a great turnout and would love to offer intramurals for students who may not make the team. If you are an interested parent to coach intramurals, please reach out to Amy Butson. The commitment would be just a few afternoons so students can still take the activity buses home.

We’re also collecting items for our Panther Store—if you’d like to contribute, please use our Amazon wishlist. Please Click on this link to donate an item. Students love earning these incentives and prizes for following the IMS Way and showing positive behavior around campus. Lastly, we’re excited to introduce a new program for 8th grade students called Panther Pathways—a fun and interactive opportunity to explore different career paths, learn about college options, and start imagining their future possibilities!
