Mission Statement

Issaquah Middle School is an interdependent community that creates an environment in which all are empowered to be responsible, respectful, thinking citizens.  To achieve such an environment at Issaquah Middle School, we:

  • meet challenges as flexible, creative, and critical thinkers;
  • value ourselves and others as contributing members of society;
  • create a rigorous academic environment which generates excitement for lifelong learning.

Office Hours:

8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Wednesday

Students are allowed on campus at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Tuesday. Thursday, Friday and 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday.

Unless in a supervised activity, students must be off campus by 2:55 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday.

Directions to Issaquah Middle School:

Heading east on I-90 - Take exit #17 (Front Street) and turn south (right). Follow Front Street to the stop light at Sunset Way. Take a left on Sunset Way and then turn right onto 2nd Ave SE. Follow 2nd Ave. SE to the IHS/IMS school entrance on the left.

Heading west on I-90 – Take exit #18 (Sunset Way) and turn south (left). Follow Sunset Way to the four-way stop at 2nd Ave SE and turn left. Follow 2nd Ave. SE to the IHS/IMS school entrance on the left.

I acknowledge that I am on the Indigenous Land of Coast Salish people who have reserved treaty rights to this land, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ). I thank these caretakers of this land who have lived and continue to live here since time immemorial.
