Student team holds project

In the world of sports, inclusivity and accessibility are paramount principles that must be upheld at all levels. However, for individuals with low vision or no vision, participating in certain sports like basketball has posed significant challenges. But now, thanks to the ingenious efforts of the Incredibots, a rookie Robotics Lego League team comprising six exceptional ISD students, the game has undergone a revolutionary transformation with the introduction of Sonic Dunk – a groundbreaking basketball kit specifically tailored for athletes with low vision or no vision.

Meet Principal Michelle Caponigro

Hello, Wolverine families! If you would like to know the best thing about being a principal, I’ll tell you – it's the kids! A few fun facts about me: My current favorite young adult book is “The Hate You Give.” If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be roasted sweet potatoes. My bucket list includes the goal of living abroad for five years. I was once featured in the “Guinness Book of World Records” for being in the largest group of clarinet players ever assembled!
